An international event shaping the future of Mediterranean agriculture
The Mediterranean Agroecology Network - AEMED announces the 2nd Mediterranean Agroecology Congress: four days dedicated to dialogue, research, movements and agroecological practices connecting Mediterranean peoples.
AEMED 2027 will bring together researchers, farmers, companies, civil society organisations, public institutions, investors and policy makers from numerous Mediterranean countries, creating a unique space for exchange, innovation and collaboration.
Against a backdrop of climate change, scarce natural resources and the need to reduce the environmental impact of agricultural production, agroecology combines traditional knowledge, technological innovation and new economic models.
The agroecological transition also requires appropriate financial instruments. The congress will focus on sustainable finance, financial engineering and access to credit to support the investments required by the transition.
